My Journey

I am Julie Wardwell, a Holistic Health Practitioner with roots stretching deep into Celtic soil. My practice weaves ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with the forgotten food languages of the North Atlantic shores—where our ancestors found nourishment that built resilience into their very DNA.
My own healing odyssey began when my body revealed itself as what I now call "the canary in the coal mine." Highly reactive to the synthetic world we've created, my body rejected modern chemicals in everything from soaps to metals, sending me a clear message: return to what is real, what is ancestral, what your genes recognize.
This sensitivity became my greatest teacher. To rebuild my immunity and vitality, I journeyed through the healing traditions of Nutritional Science, Western Herbalism, Ayurvedic Medicine, Yoga Therapy and Somatic Bodywork—each practice adding another thread to my healing tapestry.
The Ancestral Connection
The most profound revelation came when I journeyed to the land of Ireland. There, I consumed the foods of my ancestral homelands, Ireland, Scotland, and Britain. My body responded with an ancient recognition and my energy and endurance deepened, and my sleep became sound and rhythmic with the sun and moon. At the same time, I realized that many non-ancestral foods like rice and beans were not that digestible, while ancestral foods like fish, potato, cabbage, turnip, carrots, and apples are in harmony with my being. It wasn’t just nutritional healing; it was genetic remembering.​
